CHICAGO, IL—September 12, 2012 (James Street Media Services)—The Traffic Club of Chicago, one of the nation’s oldest and finest transportation associations, announces the next Executive Series Luncheon, Thursday, September 20, 2012. The guest speaker will be Robbie Anderson, president of United Cargo.

“The Traffic Club of Chicago and United Airlines share a similar mission: to have a widespread positive impact on the world’s transportation and logistics from our historic base in Chicago,” says Anderson. “So I am very pleased to have the opportunity to discuss the airline and air cargo industries, and United’s role in both, with Traffic Club members and their guests.”

As Chicago’s hometown airline, United has a unique and vital role in the region’s transportation and logistics industries. Mr. Anderson will discuss the current state and significant trends of the airline and air cargo industries and the importance of air cargo as an economic engine in the region. He will also review the latest developments in United’s fleet, network and facilities and the progress of United’s integration into a single carrier.
