altCHATTANOOGA, Tenn.—July 12, 2011 (James Street Media Services)—Kenco, a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, real estate services, and material handling equipment, has announced the executive appointment of Sean Coakley to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Coakley will set strategic direction for sales and marketing activities for all of the Kenco operating companies.

“Sean’s experience in the industry is a valuable asset to the Kenco team,” said Andy Smith, Kenco’s Chief Operating Officer. “He shares the sensibility of Kenco’s culture and he is ideally suited to further the ‘best practices’ that are a hallmark of Kenco.”

Previously, Coakley was with Ryder Supply Chain Solutions for 10 years where he held positions of increasing responsibility within the sales and operations departments. Before his tenure at Ryder, he worked for multiple professional services firms including Electronic Data Systems, Arthur Anderson, and PeoplePC.

His education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economics in 1995 from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI; and a Master’s degree in International Administration in 1997 from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
